The university, that has faculty and students from each state in America, and more than 120 countries, was founded in 1853. The university’s business school is among the best business schools in the U.S., along with Mendoza at University of Notre Dame, McDonough at Georgetown University, Kelley at Indiana University, and Tuck at Dartmouth College.

MBA:

Olin MBA students are taught a core curriculum to specialize in a career platform from Operations & Supply Chain Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Corporate Finance & Investments, and Consulting & General Management. Students can complete a combined MBA/J.D, or they can also combine their MBA with a master of environmental and chemical engineering, energy, public health, social work, East Asian studies, biomedical engineering, urban design, and architecture.

 

Master’s Degrees:

There are also master’s degree programs for accounting, leadership, supply chain management, and finance. The school offers an executive MBA program that runs during weekends in Shanghai, Co., Denver, Mo., Kansas City, and St. Louis, and a professional MBA program held in the evenings.

 

Housing and Abroad:

Students at Olin can also complete 3-week to semester-long study abroad exchange programs in Spain, India, Hong Kong, Germany, France, and England. Living in the university is also available for the students, but most of them choose to find their own housing.
